One would assume that after  twenty-plus  years of child rearing, I would realize that life does not happen as it is portrayed in a Disney Channel movie. Living Life

We are only two weeks into summer vacation and I have found myself uttering the same two words to my birds, way too many times; “Live life!” My kids have been sleeping in, fooling around on their phones, and simply doing nothing. I have tried to cut them some slack, after all, school did just get out for the summer. Let me just say “I love June!” The longer days, sunshine, and  warmer temperatures help elevate my mood. I love the mornings when the sunshine peeks in my window to tell me that this is going to be a day to be enjoyed. The first official month of summer has always been my favorite.
